4 – Internationalisation and Learning Mobility

The Thematic Team focused on Internationalisation and Learning Mobility wants to strengthen the collaboration between EfVET members by building networks where colleges can collaborate in projects, both in physical as in virtual mobility. Providing members with knowledge and new methodologies to improve the policy on international policy. Furthermore, we intend to set quality standards for mobility providers and the collaboration between mobility providers and colleges.

5 – Joint European Qualifications

The Thematic Team focused on Joint European Qualifications aims at taking Internationalization in VET to the next level by learning about, designing and implementing Joint European Qualifications based on the Knowledge Triangle (Education, Research, Innovation), promoting Mobility for Learning and Working with a focus on Soft Skills development. This thematic team also presents the proposal to develop and implement a benchmarking instrument for enhancing transparency and mutual recognition of Joint European Qualifications in order to provide a common EfVET reference tool as a basis for the design of Joint Qualifications.

6 – Technology Enhanced Learning

The Thematic Team focused on Technology Enhanced Learning has as a departure point to “Create a working group to keep updated and map the Commission’s initiatives/strategy/policies on digital education and TEL”.

Parallel session on Higher VET  – converging diversities

This session is focused on Higher VET (Level 5 and above) and its relevance for the labour market and the society. The main aim is to establish a common nomenclature needed to move further up the ladder of qualifications and promote permeability between systems of education like IVET, CVET, Higher VET, Higher Education and Business & Personal Training.
