Panagiotis G. Anastassopoulos

With a degree in Mathematics from the University of Patras, Panagiotis G. Anastasopoulos possesses excellent expertise in IT development, particularly in web 2.0 applications. With over 16 years of experience in innovative entrepreneurship and IT consultancy, he has acquired extensive knowledge in digital sales and advertising, implementing them effectively in today’s business environment using cutting-edge technologies and informatics. He specializes in IT through web development, application engineering, and social media management.

Fluent in both English and Italian, with a basic understanding of Spanish, he has served as the Treasurer of EfVET (European Forum of Vocational Education and Training) and the National Representative of EfVET in Greece since late 2013. Additionally, he is a member of the ET2020 Working Group for Innovation and Digitalization.

Panagiotis also holds a master’s degree in Business Administration from the Hellenic Open University. With significant experience in managing national and transnational projects spanning from Southeast Europe to Erasmus+ and NSRF initiatives, he is as effective as required. His background in business and marketing management, particularly in mentoring startups, existing SMEs, and unemployed individuals, guarantees their successful initial steps in the world of entrepreneurship. He also possesses expertise in financial control management for European co-funding projects, particularly in sectors such as the internationalization of Greek SMEs, youth entrepreneurship, and rural development. He serves as an advisor to a Social Enterprise and is involved in numerous training projects.

Currently, he is a co-owner and the General Director of “p-consulting.gr,” a dynamic and forward-thinking company.

Moreover, as of August 7, 2023, Panagiotis G. Anastasopoulos was elected as the Chief Executive Officer of OLPA SA (Patras Port Organization). This appointment is of great significance given that the Patras Port is one of the largest and most strategically important ports in Greece. Serving as a vital gateway for trade, commerce, and transportation, Patras Port plays a pivotal role in the country’s economic and logistical infrastructure. Panagiotis’s leadership in this role further underscores his expertise in managing complex and crucial operations, ensuring the continued success and growth of this essential maritime hub
