The COVID-19 pandemic is disrupting our way of living. It not only poses a threat to the health of delegates around the world but will also cause major social and economic disruption. The pandemic crisis is affecting the way we work and learn in an unprecedented manner. 

Conference technical aspects

This unprecedented situation has had our EfVET Steering Committee and Conference Team looking for creative ways to have an effective and meaningful online meeting

We highly recommend reading a guide carefully and follow step by step to make sure, we can develop the meeting as planned. 

The conference will be recorded and privately shared among participants in case someone missed part of the conference due to technical problems.

Please start to get online at least 15 minutes before the conference start, so all the technical aspect can be solved beforehand.

During the conference you will be able to formulate questions in the chat throughout the conference tool. The facilitate team will make a list of all questions stated, and these will be answered all together at the end.

The conference will start at 9:30 am (European time, Brussels time). Taking into account the different time zone, we are all located the conference time.

When and where?

The Virtual EfVET Annual Conference will take place online on the 22nd of October 2020.

Anyone can attend the conference and there is no fee.

EfVET has to limit the number of delegates from a college/organisation by max 5 delegates. If by the October 4th there is space for additional delegates from a college/organisation, EfVET will contact the college/organisation. EfVET will provide a waiting list for additional delegates.

Deadline for registrations

The deadline for registrations is the 5th of October 2020.

How do you join the conference?

All delegates attending the conference have to fill in the registration form before the 5th of October 2020.

All registered delegates will receive 6 days before the conference, an invitation to join the virtual conference. This invitation will be a link that will bring you to the online conference. A reminder will be again sent 3 days before to make sure, we have everyone on board.

Please be online at least 10-15 minutes before the meeting so as all the technical aspects can be solved beforehand.
