Dr. Paulius Čepas – education: psychology (B.A., 2001) and organizational psychology (M.A., 2003). Earned PhD degree by successfully defending the dissertation “Modelling of the development of the employability competency in vocational education and training” at Vytautas Magnus University Kaunas, in 2008. Since 2012 working as director of Vocational Education Centre. As lecturer at Vytautas Magnus University and Aleksandras Stulginskis University from 2004. Since the beginning of professional career is actively involved in the initiation and implementation of programs of initial and continuing vocational education and training matching the demand of the labor market as well as the application of the European credit system for vocational education and training (ECVET) in the vocational education system of Lithuania employing his experience as a national expert of ECVET. Active member of Lithuanian academic society, the fields of his interest being vocational education and training, employability, work based learning, online learning, development of organizations and psychology. He publishes research articles and participates in more than 10 conferences and trainings annually in the field of vocational education, broadening his experience in the training programs completed in most European countries. Member of EFVET since 2018.
